David J. Fairfax, Ph.D

President and CEO

Kinentia was founded by Dr. David Fairfax in 2007 and his current role is President and CEO. He has responsibility for all aspects of Kinentia's day to day business operations. Dr Fairfax has over 25 years of experience in the drug discovery and development area, having spent a large portion of that time working with and for contract research organizations. He earned both his B.S. and Ph.D. in chemistry from Imperial College, London, U.K.

John Quinn, Ph.D

Vice President QC and Operations

Dr Quin joined Kinentia Biosciences shortly after its founding and has played an integral role in the growth of the company. Dr Quinn is a veteran of the contract research and manufacturing environment , and in his current role as VP of Quality Control and Operations, he has oversight of all of Kinentia’s operational and analytical chemistry activities.  Dr Quinn earned his Chemistry B.A. from Williams College, Massachusetts and his Ph.D. from the University of Chicago, Illinois.

Paul Zhichkin, Ph.D

Vice President, Chemistry

Dr. Zhichkin joined Kinentia Biosciences in 2021 as Vice President of Chemistry.  In this role Dr Zhichkin has responsibility for all of Kinentia’s non-GMP chemistry projects.  His background includes more than 20 years of experience working at specialty and pharmaceutical manufacturers, medicinal chemistry and chemical development contract research, and the US Food and Drug Administration. Dr. Zhichkin earned both his B.S. and Ph.D. in chemistry from Moscow State University, Moscow, Russia. 

Huancheng Qiao, Ph.D

Head, Quality Assurance

Dr. Qiao joined Kinentia Biosciences in early 2023 as Head of Quality Assurance. In this role he has played a major role in establishing Kinentia’s QMS and the company’s GMP manufacturing capabilities. Dr. Qiao is a seasoned Quality Assurance professional with over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including previous QA positions at Curia and Rhodes Technologies
